Yiannis Vassiliades is currently serving as CISO in Residence at Zscaler, the global leader in Zero Trust Transformation. With 30 years of experience in cybersecurity, Yiannis has been deeply committed to productizing transformative technologies that align with organizations’ strategic cybersecurity and risk objectives. Prior to joining Zscaler, Yiannis served as the Chief Product Officer at Ostrich Cyber-Risk, where he spearheaded the development and launch of cyber risk quantification solutions. Before that, he played a founding role in establishing and expanding the MDR division at Sophos, one of the largest MDR services worldwide (prior to the SecureWorks acquisition). Yiannis led teams across a broad spectrum of cybersecurity domains in prominent enterprises including IBM, Raytheon, and CA Technologies (acquired by Broadcom), as well as growing emerging companies from their seed stages to acquisition. Yiannis holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from University of Maryland and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
Ephrem Yemru is a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity at Accenture specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM). He has led large-scale IAM transformations, SSO integrations, and provisioning automation for global enterprises. With deep expertise in Okta and other IAM platforms, Ephrem helps organizations drive secure, scalable, and resilient identity solutions.
Geoff Sweet has nearly 30 years of technology experience, starting from the late 90's during the dot-com boom. He has held systems, network, and security architect roles across a diverse number of verticals including Gaming, BioTech, Retail, and financial SaaS. These experiences have helped him to develop robust experiences in Infrastructure Security. Geoff left the customer side to come to AWS in December of 2019 where he is still in the role of Senior Security Specialist.
Geoff is a 5th generation Washingtonian and lives outside of Seattle with his wife, and his menagerie of rescue animals which include cats, snakes, and tortoises. In his spare time you will find him in his shop working on one of his several street rod projects.
