Todd McKinnon is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Okta. He is responsible for creating, communicating and implementing the overall vision and strategy for the company. Under Todd's leadership, Okta has grown into the leading identity solution with thousands of customers.
Todd earned his B.S. in management and information systems from Brigham Young University and his M.S. in computer science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Â He is as a regular contributor to industry publications, including Forbes, Fast Company, Fortune and the Wall Street Journal Accelerators. Todd also enjoys exercising and spending time with his family.

Adam joined Okta from the global health IT firm, Cerner. During his tenure at Cerner, Adam supported clients across the world integrating Customer Identity Providers into Cerner’s platform, from patient portals to the HL7 FHIR APIs. Adam is passionate about building the (identity) bridge between patients and their data. Today, he spends his time at Okta researching how to make the consumer experience even better using open standards like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and beyond.
Michael Palantoni leads athenahealth’s Platform product team, serving athenahealth clients and their broader ecosystem of partners, payers, patients, and interoperability in health care. His duties include leadership for athenahealth’s API platform, interoperability capabilities, and key foundational technologies. He leads athenahealth’s product strategy and go to market for its Interoperability, Developer Ecosystem, Population Health, and Payer solutions.Â
